Dear SAP gurus,
We have a SAPERP60/Oracle and we are in the process of patching it.
First, We have download all sw components patches (EHP3 SPS6,) we patched
java stack and then the sw components -SAP_ABA and SAP_BASIS from SP17 to
SP22.
Now we tried to patch SAP_AP, PI_BASIS, SAP_BW, SAP_AP and SAP_APPL and
we got stuck at ABP Dictionary Activation phase (DDIC_ACTIVATION).
Ended with return code: ===> 12 <===
End of activation of switch FIN_LOC_CI_4_PAY_LR
Business function FIN_LOC_CI_4 has been deleted
Start of activation of business function FIN_LOC_CI_4
Main language for documentation module FIN_LOC_CI_4 not found
Error while copying DDIC objects from switches
We tried to apply note 1476315, but it is not possible since SPAM is on
used and cannot be reset it.
Anyone out there had a similar issue?
Regards, Marc
Hi Marc,
Once look into whole log. There might be a possibility that a manual correction for a note implemented like Z programs/badis. There is a conflict between new and old object. Try to reimport the patch after deleting that object manually. Kindly go through whole log.

Hi,
To avoid DDIC activation errors, implement the corrections contained in Notes 1301446 and 1354957.

Thanks guys,
Unfortunately, I cannot implement any note (even manually) because there is another issue coming up:
"DBIF_REPO_SQL_ERROR"
I opened another thread for that.
