HR triggers in GRC -not following any workflow

Hi Experts

We have successfully configured HR triggers in GRC system for various scenarios like new Hire ,Position change ,change Name etc . We can see triggers in GRC but here action is not creating request in other words itu2019s not following any workflow .

Here we get following message

1586 CHANGEFNAME E-HR DEV ENVIRONMENT 114 In process The request has been created, waiting for approval.

Request no. : Trigger 1586 (Rule:CHANGEFNAME, Action:CHANGEFNAME) processed on 2/15/2012 12:00 AMResult : The action is not procesed yet.

Any suggestion / help is greatly appreciated . Thanks .

Hi Aditya,

Check your connectors are working fine or not. The connectors you have listed in HR Trigger --> Actions.

Hello Aditya,

I checked Support Portal and there are various notes with problems regarding HR Triggers. I think you can start with these two notes in order to figure out the root cause of the problem:

1591291 - GRC 10.0 - HR Trigger configuration

1641138 - GRC 10.0 - HR Triggers not being processed

Thanks for your reply and Sorry i forgot to mention ..we are @5.3 . Hence these notes will not be applicable .

Hello Aditya!!

OK, but there are also notes regarding problems with HR triggers in 5.3, for example:

Note 1641543 - HR Triggers are not working for Action type changes

Note 1168508 - Compliant User Provisioning 5.3 Support Package (VIRAE)

Have you performed a search for OSS Notes? What's the SP Level?

Sorry for the delayed response ..

Here I found Note 1641543 helpful considering our SP level and hence we were implementing this note and we got error saying it canu2019t be implemented so I have asked ABAP team to go for manual changes as itu2019s a programing error .. hope this will help us out will keep you posted .

Also our connectors are working fine but I havenu2019t understood what do you mean by connectors listed in HR Trigger --> Actions . Can you please explain .

Hi Aditya,

Please also check that all mandatory field requirements are being populated via the trigger,

example, Telephone number, email address, etc.

Hi Aditya,

We are having the same problem in our system. We are using only position changes HR Triggers. They were working fine but from past few days it stopped for no reason with the same error. Connector password was wrong, so corrected it and thought it will work fine but its not.

We are on SP17 and has already implemented that note you mentioned. Nothing yet.

Checked config again .. things are ok ..also now we are getting process status : Not Processed (earlier it was he request has been created, waiting for approval.. The action is not processed yet)

Any suggestion help is highly appreciated .
