Inspection lot creation and certificate generation.

Dear SAP QM Gurus,

We have one requirement that when we create Stock transfer order and against that system should generate a inspection lot we need to create certificate from this.

Is it possible? If yes then how (I have activated the inspection type 11(w/o Cust.Order) in the material master and also maintained the inspection plan.

Reward points will be given.

Hi

You can go for Source Inspection.

Maintain the quality info record for supplyinng plant(vendor) and plant in which the mateial would be procured.

Create lot with the help of Qi07 aganist that purchase order.

do the rest of the procedure.......... as usually do.

Depend on stock transfer procedure which you have

1)Stock Transfer Between Plants in One Step

- Not possible for sending plant

- Inspection type '08' for receiving plant

2)Stock Transfer Between Plants in Two Steps

- Inspection type '02' for sending plant

- Inspection type '08' for receiving plant

3)Stock Transport Order with Delivery via Shipping in One Step

- Inspection type '02' or '11' for sending plant

- Not possible for sending plant

4)Stock Transport Order with Delivery via Shipping in Two Step

- Inspection type '02' or '11' for sending plant

- Inspection type '08' for receiving plant (not sure)
