Hello, i have generated some variants of stack upgrade configurations for som components of our ERP system by MOPZ.
Now when I run SAINT to upgrade component I do steps as follows:
1) Load packages from Application server
2) I see the button "Stack Configuration (fetch from Solution Manager)" and I click on it.
3) next window appears where system reports:
"The following stack configurations are available.
Choose the desired configuration "
I see two choices with the same names:
- EHP5 FOR SAP ERP 6.0
- EHP5 FOR SAP ERP 6.0
But whatever I choice I get the error messages: "The loaded stack configuration does not fit to the current system state"
I am very confused. I tried to delete and change xml files from EPS\in folder but i didn't help. It apprears SM stores the generated stack configuration in other place.
I have two questions:
1) Where SAINT retrives stack configuration from? (or Where Solution Manager stores generated stack configuration?)
2) How can I specify the other place of stack xml file in SAINT?
Hi,
Refer similer issue thread:

Yes, this is upgrade EHP5 components so I use SAINT. I know where support packages are. But I cannot understand where stack configuration generated by MOPZ are stored. I can delete stack xml files from EPS/in but SAINT can still define the stack configuration when I click on button Stack Configuration there. What 's the main question.

Hi,
are you trying to upgrade your ERP 6.0 system to EHP5? then refer upgrade procedure via EHPi
If it is EHP5 support package upgrade , you can follow SAINT process.
Check profile parameter DIR_EPS_ROOT of ERP system from where SAINT pulls packages.
