Hi,
We are in the process of implementing EWM.
When we try to publish the standard internet service for EWM RF transaction /SCWM/RFUI...everything works
fine in desktop browser (IE).
When we used the same URL in our PDA Motorola...there were no problems with the screen size....
But we were unable to use certain functionalities that we were able to use in Desktop browser such as
1. Enter button is not working in the application
2. In the standard RF , back operation is done using function key F7 , where as in our PDA F7 is used for increasing the volume..
is there any way we can change the settings...
Similar PDA and browser was working fine for ITS applications developed in SAP ECC .
Regarding the Service GUI configuration , its similar to that of standard service itsmobile01
~THEME 99
~TRANSACTION /SCWM/RFUI
#MOBILE This is a mobile service
~ITSMOBILE 1
#ENABLE BACKGROUND SOUND FOR MESSAGES
~ITSMOBILEMSGSOUND 1
~SOURCES /SCWM/RFUI,itsmobile
~POPUPS 1
Is the above problems due to the browser that we use in the PDA / any additional parameters to be used in GUI configuration of service?
Kindly suggest .
Regards,
Thyagu.
Hi Thyagu,
The following WIKI might be useful:
[How to obtain the function key values for ITSmobile applications|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/SoBqCw ]
and the parameter ~ITSMOBILEDEVICEINCLUDE
see the WIKI:
[Service Parameter and Settings |http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/POk ]

Hi Oisin,
Thanks for your Reply.
I will make the above mentioned changes and let you know.
Just one more clarification,
Currently we are using Motorola MC9090 model with OS Windows mobile 5 and we are running the ITS applications in the standard Internet Explorer provided.
Will the META Tags function works in the above specification or should i go for a Industrial browser such as Symbol Pocket Browser or upgrade the windows mobile version to 6 and above ?
Regards,
Thyagu.
