In Material Master fields are maintained as follows:
Basic data 1-> General Data-> Base Unit of Measure= QTL (Quintals)
Basic data 1-> Dimensions/ EANs-> Gross weight= 100; Net weight= 100; Weight unit= KG
In Sales Order the UoM comes as QTL.
Now we want that system should auto calculate the Bags according to the conversion factor maintained in Material Master. Hence pls advice how and where to maintain such conversion. Pls specify the tab in Material Master-> Additional Data
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
First at material master additional data tab, differentiate the quantity like 1 QTL = 10 BAG,Now at *sale org 1 tab maintain
sales* unit as BAG.While creating the sale order system takes BAG in to the consideration. You can maintain price per BAG at
VK11, the same BAG price will be come into sale order.
Check and revert

You need to maintain value in 2 tabs under additional data:
- Unit of measurement
- Proportion/prod. unit
I assume you have maintain default UoM for Sales unit in sales: sales org1 view.

If you are
not getting Proportion/prod. unit tab in Additional Data
No issues.
I assume.
Base Unit of Measure | - Quintals |
Sales unit | - Bags |
Sales unit not var. (variable Sales Unit Not Allowed) Indicator is active
Then additional data Unit of Measure tab:
maintain
X | - Denominator for conversion to base units of measure | 1 |
AUn | - Alternative Unit of Measure for Stockkeeping Unit | QTL |
Y | - Numerator for Conversion to Base Units of Measure | 1 |
EAN/UPC | - International Article Number (EAN/UPC) | n.a. |
Ct | - Category of International Article Number (EAN) | n.a. |
Au | - Indicator: Determine check digit for EAN automatically | n.a. |
Gross Weight | 100 | |
Net weight | 100 | |
Weight unit | Kg |

Dear Jyoti Prakash,
My Base UoM is QTL.
Sales unit is also QTL (since Sales unit and Base UoM are same therefore we've kept Sales unit as blank).
Let me make my requirement more clear.
In Sales Order UoM should be QTL, which is coming correctly. But we want that system should calculate no. of bags automatically and it should be printed on invoice.
Pls advice. It is becoming Go-live critical issue.
Thanks a lot.
HI
If you sales UOM is Bags then maintain in the Material Master the system will ask the Conversion factor

Prasanna,
My Sales UoM is Quitals because material is sold in QTL. QTL should come in Sales Order. The material is Sugar. It is packed in 100 kg and 50 kg bags. Hence we have 2 material codes- one for 100 kg and the other for 50 kg. PR00 is also in per QTL. But I want that if 300 QTL of Sugar is sold in bags of 100 kg bags then system should auto calculate 300 bags. So how to achieve this.
Rgds.
