UD Reversal for Serial No

Is there any facility for UD Reversal for Serial no in EHP6 or any body done some Research and development for UD reversal for serial no.

hi,

Fro Serial numbers, UD reversal is possible by using SAP oss notes as some suggested but stck posting is not possible . Take the help of an ABAP'r for some work around.

You can revoke UD but can not reverse the stock posted.

This is limitation with SAp note 175842 also.

OK but in my business its happend prequently how we will resolve reversal serial nos we are handsup or any other solution we can give to client

Hi Lakshmiananda,

Perhaps you need to develop a custom program for if you want to carry out document specific reversal at your risk!

Why exactly you need to reverse this? Only for re-inspection or you want to cancel original material document (either of production or purchase order goods receipt)

1. In earlier case activate inspection type 08 and carry out 322 movement in MB1B

2. In later case, you can achieve the effect still. But remember this would not be material document specific reversal.

3. Go to MB31 for production order GR cancellation.

4. Go to MB01 for purchase order GR cancellation.

5. Change movement type to 102. Change stock type from X to blank i.e unrestricted.

6. So that the stock would be lifted from unrestricted use instead of quality inspection.
