Dear All
can any of you help me install SAP on Mac Pro, how do i do it and how much space do i need.
Dear Saibaba,
SAP software is based on OS and DB platforms and the hardware is not really a consideration.
As long as you install a supported OS and DB fo rthe SAP product system, then you could install on virtually any hardware that supports the supported OS and DB.
The previous poster has already provided the necessary links for you to look up the SAP product and swee what OS and DB
platforms are supported. And you could also run a VM with a Supported OS and DB on the MAC Pro as Virtualization is also supported, provided it has a supported OS and DB.
Regards,
Paul

Hi,
What kind of SAP system do you intend to install?
Trial system or complete licensed system? Product SAP ECC, CRM?
If trial, then what is the OS on your Mac Pro. Check out the download section in SDN itself. You will find the software there.
If its complete licensed system check two link below:
http://service.sap.com/instguides for procedure and requirements
http://service.sap.com/pam for supported OS/DB platforms
Taking a guess as you have opened this thread in SAP Solution Manager topic - you should not consider installing a solution manager system on a laptop.

Srikishan
