SAP 4.6C installation on HP-UX

Hello Guys,

It's been long time since I visited the site. Anyway, I would like to know if Oracle 9.2 is compatible with HP-UX 11i v2?

I need to install SAP R/3 4.6c on HP-UX box.

Also, I would like to know some tips in cleaning up file systems because the HP-UX box that i'll be using has been used for NW and PI systems. I have uninstalled these systems already including the Oracle DB. I would like to know what file systems needs to be deleted and what should be retained. I will be using new SID and Oracle.

Hi ,

The below combination can be used to install 4.6 C

ORACLE 9.2 64-BIT HP-UX 11.0

ORACLE 9.2 64-BIT HP-UX 11.11/PA-RISC

ORACLE 9.2 64-BIT HP-UX 11.23/IA64 64BIT

ORACLE 9.2 64-BIT HP-UX 11.23/PA-RISC

To answer your second question, Please check the installation guide to the relevent product to completely uninstall sap system.

That information is in PAM.

Difficult to know without having a look at the filesystems, but all the required filesystem structures are described on the installation guide.
