When I tried to import SW comps into IR, it is giving an error
<i>"Unable to read SWC versions from SLD <b>"<host>:<prot>"</b></i>
Any directions, thoughts...etc...
-Naveen.
Hello Naveen,
Please check if user PIAPPLUSER is locked, if yes unlock it from SU01.
Then try SLDCHECK, if still the issue persists the do as below..
TCODE: RZ70
Under Data Collection Programs...
Check if "_SLD_RFC" is active else check the same and activate.
Hope this helps you.
Regards,
Sri.

Hi Naveen,
Try all checks of this link: "Access To SLD From ABAP Fails Problem Description".
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/78/20244134a56532e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
Normally, you have already done some of them, but perhaps you forgot the others.

Hi,
The error that is appearing in the IR when you try to import - is this showing the correct host/port information and does it match the host/port that is shown in the browser when you access the SLD from the Integration Builder ?
If not, I would suggest your Exchange Profile is incorrect and the association between the IR and SLD needs to be checked.
Kind regards
Colin.

Hi every one,
What I have done to fix the issue.
.Make sure that the user in SLD access data transaction (SLDAPICUST), PIAPPLUSER to have correct roles and is in the appropriate user-group.
.Make sure that all the service users like PIREPUSER, PIDIRUSER, PIRWBUSER, PILDUSER and the user PIAPPLUSER are not locked.
.We have done somethings in Visual Administrator for which we had a how to guide from one of our collegues.
If anyone wants some more information, please let me know I will try to provide.
-Thanks,
Naveen.

Hi Naveen,
Pls do run the SLDCHECK transaction in ABAP stack of your XI server and see whether the connection to SLD is working properly.
Cheers

Hi!
Please check your Exchange Profile for any missing definitions of your SLD. Obviously your IR "does not know" where to locate the SLD.
Use XI start page and then click on link "administration" on the upper right-hand part of the screen.
