Hi,
In a scenario like IDOC -> XI ->TARGET, the target is down (EO) and there are huge number of messages going in from R/3. Since # of retries is 3, each message goes through that retry before failing resuling in holding other queues/processing.
Is there a good way to disable the end2end without canceling the messages in adapter framework in XI?
m
Antoher way may be to make the RFC destination to the XI invalid. In this case all the requests "stay" within the tRFC queue (see transaction SM58), where you can restart them on demand. Or you may make the port invalid for outgoing IDocs. Thus the IDocs "hang up" in the ERP system and you can restart them after the problem has been solved using transaction WE87.

Volker

Hi maddux,
When u use transaction sxmb_adm to manage the queues, you would be able to deregister only the queue which u need rite?

We have gone into transaction SMQR and deregistered the Outbound Queues to collect the messages.
In SPS 17 you will be able to Stop the communication.
