Guidelines to define the Root Namespace

Hi all,

I'm starting with XI and I would like to cotribute with you and ask your help sometimes.

At the first point I'm thinking about the root namespace. Has anyone thought about this yet or it's not a so important topic to discuss about (I have searched about it here and haven't found anything).

In our environment we use something like this

Namespaces are used to uniquely name a set of Objects belonging to one direction (sender or receiver) of the message flow underneath a Software Component version. Related objects are put in the same namespace. It consists of the following parts:

http://companyname.com/<component>/<functional domain optional><interface number><sitecode>

<component> can be anything like (A widely used external party name, a common Application from where msgs are sent, a SAP system etc)
