Hello Alaa;

i installed the IDES on a windows server 2003 successfuly but i have a problem in my j2ee: some processe are running.

i know that i need to change some values in im VMC but i do not know how.

i also checked SM and i got this message "JAVA is not actiated in this Application server"

thank you for your reply.

the value of vmc/enable is off i checked it in RZ11

can you tell me what to do because in sm52 it tells me that java is not activated, and when i go to SM53 to activate VMC it tells me that it can not be changed.

thank you for yor reply. i am implenting the note u sent now, but will this help me in activating java in my IDES system.

because when i go to t-code: SM53 it keeps telling me that Java is not activated in this application server.
