required field in customer master

Dear all,

I want to make a required field entry for this tab > in customer master>in sales area data -->in extra menu --> additional data here 1 field is there zonal manager i want to make this field as a mendotory....

Try using user exit EXIT_SAPMF02D_001 in program SAPLXF04 to check the fields KNVV-KVGR1-5 fields (not sure which is used in your scenario). If not filled, then the system can provide hard error.
