Greetings Bhanu,

When a WCD is created, you input one or more items (functional locations, equipments or text items) that represent technical objects that need to be secured (machines disabled, valves shut, switches turned etc.) to prepare the work site.

Since these are input on the WCD in order of selection, it may not reflect the actual order for performing those actions in the field. Normally, it is quite hard to move WCI items around in a WCD.

For this purpose Tag and Untag Sequence is introduced. Say you have three power switches that need to be switched on/off in a particular order - sequence allows you to specify that on the WCD and on the tagging/untagging list shop papers.

N.B. Usually an untagging sequence will be the opposite of the tagging sequence, but not always! This depends on technicalities and can be specified as needed.

Also, tagging sequence isn't mandatory, but if you're specifying it on a WCD, it is important for it to be unambigous. E.g. sequence I-1, II-2 III-2 IV-3 - switch item I first, then item II and III in any order, and item IV last, if you didn't specify anything for an item, you don't know if it's before or after the sequence!)
