Adapter Level Error

Hi Guys,

I am getting below error in Target adapter level. This is File to RFC Interface.

Execution of mapping "http://rei.com/xi/pos/inbound/OM_xPOLL_POSDM" failed. Reason: MappingException: 204

Error Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.service.mapping.MappingException: 204.

Can any one please expalin me why i am getting this error and how to resolve this error.

Hi siva,

try to map with source level node to target level node.

and do not map 2node(source) with same node of target.

Can you explain the response a bit more? I am having the same trouble, but only in one environment. Other environments, my mapping is fine.

Is it a new PI system or an existing one running some scenarios?

Hi Siva,

It looks like it is not the adapter, but the mapping that causes the error:

MappingException: 204

Test your Message Mapping using the source structure and you should be able to determine the reason.
