Hi PI experts,
in our FTP Receiver scenario we want to use SSL (FTPs). The FTP connection is working, but as soon as we activate SSL the connection cannot be established.
The receiving party performed a network trace and found out that the PI FTP Adapter is using TLS 1.1 commands. But the Filegate on the receiving side only supports TLS 1.0 command.
As far as I know SAP PI 7.11 support SSL 3.0 - 3.2 (TLS 1.0 - TLS 1.1).
How to I tell the FTP Adapter to use TLS 1.0 commands ?
Thanks for any hints.
Regards,
Elko Hasse
Hi Elko
I am looking information about TLS 1.0 and like to know whether or not the version of Seeburger AS2 2.1.4 supports TLS 1.0?
Please let me know if anyone has any document on that.
thanks in advance!
Regards,
Ansul Chandra

Hello Elke,
Did you ever find a solution to this problem. I think, I am having the same problem.

Simple suggestion, raise OSS.
For SOAP we had a similar problem where the partner was supporting an older version of TLS. We raised an OSS and SAP suggested to replace few jar files on PI server with those from older PI version (and they provided those files). We did that and it worked. Only catch with this scenario is whenever you do any patch upgrade on PI, it brings back the new file and you have to replace the file again.

Basically you are doing FTPS communication. Refer this link

IMO, the adapter supports both 1.0 and 1.1 standards.
