Dear PIers,
We are planning to upgrade SAP PI 7.0 to SAP PI 7.30 Dual stack version. We did not go to "Single Stack" since we did not want to migrate existing 400 interfaces to the single stack architecture at the same time and we wanted to migrate them one by one.
If we upgrade to SAP PI 7.30 Dual stack, will we be able to use the SAP Netwever BPM?. This will help us to make sure that we are one step ahead for migrating to single stack apart from migrating from ABAP based adapters to Java based adapters.
is anyone planning to go to PI 7.30 Dual stack and gradually migrate BPE based interfaces to SAp Netwever BPM before converting the dual stack PI to single stack PI 7.31?.
Regards
Having dual stack 7.3 installation for the existing BPM scenarios is wise decision at the moment. Though BPM uses BPMN standard not BPEL as that of CCBPM, still you might want to use as is in dual stack at this time. The Netweaver BPM integration with 7.3 is not completely aggressive yet. At this moment go with CCBPM and having dual stack should not impact the interfaces.
