Document Pricing procedure

Hello

I wanted know how the different document pricing procedures actually differ in their setting because the option there is available is to define one but no configuration feature. Is this only used to determine the pricing procedure.

Dear Adithya,

The document priceing procedure we are using in the sales document type is for Pricing procedure determination only.

Depending up on the Sales area, Document priceing procedure and customer pricing produre "priceing procedure" will be determined in the sales order(This process depends on Priceing Field of your item Category)

Hi,

Document pricing procedure is just a value that is being used together with the sales document type to determine a pricing procedure to the sales order.

Together with that, customer pricing procedure, sales area are the other determination factors.

This is configured in teh IMG path: Sales and Distribution / Basic Functions / Pricing / Pricing Control / Define and Assign Pricing procedure / Define Pricing Procedure Determination

This kind of a setup allow us to determine different pricing procedures based on different business requirements you have.

Sales Area(S.OrgDist ChannelDivision) + Document pricing procedure +Customer Pricing Procedure +Pricing Procedure

this document pricing procedure which is used in pricing procedure according to the client requirement

but Standard is A.in (t-codeVOV8)

you want to configure your own

IMG>Sales and Distribution>Basic Function>Pricing>Pricing Control>Define and Assign Pricing Procedure>Define Document pricing procedure.
