i am new to the contraction industry and our client recommended us to impliment SD module.
May i know few insights about how contraction is working in SAP?
Is there any difference between SD contraction and SD manufacturing ?

Contractions are actually a part of the manufacturing process, a predecessor to the delivery process.
All are tightly integrated in the transactional flow.
Manufacturing starts the process. As a business case, there are 2 participating parties. Example: a man and woman work together to manufacture a baby. This transaction may be repeated multiple times until successful.
Just prior to the delivery process, contractions occur in party 2. Shortly thereafter, party 2 delivers the final product.
