Could not open the ICU common library

Hi,

I am doing the system copy and i have maxdb database . During "perform maxdb post load activities" i have got error---

"Could not open the ICU common library".

I have gone through the log file and find that below error error--

"Could not open the ICU common library.

The following files must be in the path described by

the environment variable "LD_LIBRARY_PATH":

libicuuc.so.30, libicudata.so.30, libicui18n.so.30 [nlsui0.c 1557] pid = 3359"

Please help me to get resolve this issue .

Hi Amit,

Could you please provide some information about your system's Release/SP Level? Also, please check if Note 1652660 is relevant. The error you face has at times occured along with the error messages in that note.

Hi Amit,

Try to add the location of those files to LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

Must be /sapmnt/<SID>/exe or /sapmnt/ERSXX/exe.

Hello Amit,

Did you correct the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable for the "sidadm" user?

You also have to stop all SAP running processes, logoff, and then logon again, or else the new settings of the environment will not be refreshed.

Hi,

Please check wether file  libicuuc.so.30, libicudata.so.30, libicui18n.so.30 are present in /sapmnt/SID/exe and /usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS<XX>/exe . If not please correct it by downloading new kernel. If exist then please try to edit LD_DIR_PATH in environment.
