IDOC_AAE RECEIVER error PI 7.3 - name problem?

Former Member

Hello experts.

I am currently trying out the new PI 7.3 features.

I have created 2 IDOC_AAE receiver communication channels.

One of them have the checkbox: Apply Sender from Payload checked and the other one has default values.

the first is called: IDOC_RECEIVER_PayloadSender and the other is just called: IDOC_RECEIVER

when the server goes up I get this problem for IDOC_RECEIVER in the communication channel monitoring:

Error while updating JCA Connection Factory. Reason: Couldn't able to findxi/idoc/CF_/ED6/IDOC_RECEIVER under JCA Resource: outboundRA

when I stop it, and then start again I get the following error:

Entry already found in Adapter register. Pls Stop and Start channel

I have tried to copy IDOC_RECEIVER to a new channel named: AIDOC_RECEIVER and it works fine.

Anyone knows if there is a name limitation for communication channels?

is there a fix for this issue?

Thanks,

Imanuel Rahamim.

Hi Victoria,

AFAIK there is no limitation on the Channel name. The error doesn't relate to channel name it is independent.

please check the following options:

1.Check whether the cache is update.

2. Check whether the services in NWA -> outboundRA is in Green or not.If it is in yellow ask basis team to restart.

3. Please delete the channel and create the new one.

4.Try to stop and start the channel.

I hope the above points might you in resolving the issue.

Hi Sahithi,

We tried out all the options, except deletion of the channel (because we are working on Production environment, so we cannot delete a channel each time we have this issue).

The main problem is that when the OutboundRA is in status error or in yellow and we try to restart the application, it doesn't run properly.

The only thing we can do is to be waiting for while we start & stop several times the affected channels until they begin working again.

Anyway, thank you so much for your help.

Victoria

Hi Imanuel/Experts,

Have you solved this issue? Can you please share with us. I am too facing this issue in PI 7.3.

The channel was showing an error initially only on of the the nodes (out of two) as below

"Entry already found in Adapter Engine. Pls Stop and Start Channel".

When i stopped and started the channel both the nodes wen to error state and the error text changed to

"Entry NOT found in Adapter Engine. Pls Start and Stop channel".

Thanks

As far as I can remember - There was no solution found / given to me by SAP.

However - we installed SP05 - and now the problem seems not to occur again.

are you in SP05 and above?
