Operators per station (Operation/Resources) configuration

Hi all,

A quick question:

Does Visiprise has the ability to restrict Operators per station (Operation/Resources) ? Need to find out if there is a possible configuration at Visiprise to restrict users to log-in in more than one station.

Hi Leon,

You can the the following:

- in Activity Maintenance, create a spesific POD with a specific operation and resource as parameters in URL,

- in POD Maintenance, for that POD you should disable capability to change Opeartion and Resource,

- then assign that POD to a specific user group,

- then assign a user to that user group.

In this case the user can be able to work in that POD only, without possibility to change Operation and Resource.

Hi,

You can restrict access to specific Operations and resources through the definition and assignement of certifications. However, as far as I am aware, there is no current functionality to stop operators logging into more than one operation at a time.
