Adapter monitoring and Alerts

Hi,

I have configured a sender e-mail adapter. The adapter is polling the inbox of an e-mail account. Is it possible to monitor this action with alerts?

E.g. the email account is locked. So the adapter in the adapter monitoring is red and shows an error message. Is this error picked up by the alerting framework?

I don't get any alerts on this situation.

Ron,

This is possible only if you are on SP 14 and above.

If you are on Sp14, check note : 913858 . There is a question that discusses Why Alerts In Adapter Framework are not triggered.

Hi,

I have created a rule "Adapter Alerts" The fields for conditions all contain an "*"

Where did the error occur? --> Adapter Engine --> Adapter type "Mail"

Like mentioned , check the note 913858 .

Also, just try this,

Make where the error occured as ALL ( INCLUDE INTEGRATION ENGINE and ADAPTER ENGINE ) and then test the user and see if the Alerts are generated.

Also, check for any dump in St22
