Attributive inspection non conf units : Attribute means the Qualitative char .

As a result,When a sampling procedure with parameters sample size 'n' and acceptance number 'c' is created ,

results are valuated based on non conforming units in the result recording .

Valuation mode is used to determine how the system determines if a particlar characterisitc passes or fails.

Number of non-comforming units means it is based on the the number of units that fail inspection, not necessarily a spec.

So iyou create a characteristic like 'apperance' and you record that 5 out of 300 were nonconforming. You can set the valuation up so that 10 or less non-conforming units is actually a pass. You only fail it when you reach 11 non-conforming units.

If you specify a valuation against a specification, it will look at the recorded result against the specifications. If it is out of range, it fails.

Manual valuation is just that. A person has to manually decide if the characteristic passes.

You can also choose a valuation against a control chart or SPC chart if you want.

And you can create your own valuation procedure by writing a Function module for it and configuring it into the system.
