There is also an SAP app for the Ipad that allows you log into your system from the IPAD.

I have loaded it to my IPad but haven't tried it with a system yet.

If you talk about SAPPLAPP: I had tried this one about one year ago on the iPhone and it has been working quite well. Don't know if it still is available...

Yes. Since you can get a cell service line for about 25.00/month and/or use wireless connectivity, I often thought a stripped down IPad could be a great handheld device to carry around a lab and record results with. Make it a true paperless lab. It would be very cheap and probably could be done for less than 300.00 per IPad.

i just haven't had a client yet that wanted to try it.

Also with some of the note taking apps you can load PDF's to the IPAD, use a note app to 'write' directly onto the stored PDF and print it out or save it. You could load lab worksheets, MSDS's, spec sheets, methods, etc.. right onto the IPad.
