PRT TOOL SHElF LIFE

My requirement is regarding Shelf life of PRT tool in SAP PP

I have FERT material, producing 200 quantity of FERT material,

for which i required one PRT tool

afer completing 200 quantity i required to change the PRT tool

so what exactly end to end cycle i have to MAP in sap..

Please help me out..

Hi Parag,

I can give you the basic idea.

• Create an equipment PRT
• For that equipment create measuring document(IK01)
• Create measuring document
• Now in maintenance plan you can define strategy and values for life. You can have multiple strategy like if 1000 times or 2 years whichever is greater... like that. As well you can scrap the material/ maintain the material.
