Logon balancing for SAP GUI 6.40

Hi, Gurus.

Good day.

I'm trying to configure a logon balnacing on SAPGUI 6.40 but manually modified the saplogon.ini, sapmsg.ini and services files. However, I'm getting an error which is "partner not reached". Maybe I overlooked or done some misconfiguration while performing the manual set-up.

Although this is an old version of SAP GUI, is there any documentation or steps that you can suggest on how to configure the logon balancing using SAP GUI 6.40? and not the manual setup which I did.

I fear you are wasting your time as 6.40 has not been supported since 2008!

and any issues with 6.40 cannot be addressed by support.

Please migrate to 7.20 asap.
