Refurbishment order

Hi,

While creating the refurbishment order what is need of create serial number in object of order header ,display serial number popup.If this serial nuber generate what is role of this in refurbishment.I am ok with the serial numbers whom i have to refurbish.

Hi

by using the serial numbers,you can track the refurbishment history,equipment history for the equipments.

click "Serial number" tab in the equipment master,click history.

we can dismantle,goods issue,notification created as in the history of equipment.

if you want to link the refurbish materials with corresponding equipments, then need to used serial numbers.

Very fine but using another serial number is little bit confusing..suppose one defective spare serial no 7 needs to be refurbished but while creating the refurbishment order another serial no XXXX generation is confusingCould you expalin more?

Hi

You can use same serial number .we are changing only valuation type(Defective) to Refurbished

Example:

Material - 100021

Serial no- 01

Valaution type -C3

after refurbishment..

Material -100021

Serial no- 01

Valuation type -C2
