long text in qp01/qp02

Dear Gurus,

In inspection plan Trans code QP02 long text and in the

inspection lot once it is approved( UD Done) system should not take any new

updations for already approved old ones it should take from the task

list assigned on that day what mics are present no changes should print

from latest corrections in coa and summary sheet

presently after approval also if any changes are made means in long text

latest one is printing it is difficult to explain the auditors for having system control.

What could be the best possible solution.

The long text of the inspection plan is not unique to an inspection lot.

So I think I would consider using a user exit when the inspection lot is created to copy the inspection plan text into the inspection lot text. That text shouldn't change.

Look at QPL10001 - QM: Inspection lot creation - editing work area on creation.

You can also try

QPAP0001 - Enhancement - plan reading

QPAP0002 - Enhancement for material/plan assignment, plan selection

One of those should allow you to grab the IP text and copy it to somewhere in the insp. lot.
