Document management in SRM

In case the PO with internal note atachment is created in the backend, it may be viewed in R/3 ME23N, the control branches to standard BDS transactions CV01/2/3N. (Business document services)

If the PO is a local SRM PO, then how the documents are managed. Is the counterpart of BDS transactions available in SRM too?
