Unable to open OCS File

Hi,

I have kept my support packages from ftp client to /usr/sap/trans/eps/in from my windows machine.

When im uploading support packs im getting following error. "Unable to open OCS file CSN0120061532_0048071.PAT"

SPAM> Load Packages> from application server >

Operating System : AIX

DB: Oracle 10.2

I will be glad if some one can help me.

Hi

I have solved on my own. From FTP client i made permission to eps/in recursively to subfolders to 777.

Verify that your DIR_TRANS and DIR_EPS_ROOT variables are correct and reachable from your server. As you are on AIX you /usr/sap/trans is not local, you may be experiencing NFS problems. Check if you can read this drirectory at OS level ?

Or as he said in previous reply... check for file permissions....

Hi,

Please check on the below items:

1. Ensure to have file permission of 777 for your source file that you would like to deploy.

2. Ensure that the file has the ownership of <sid>adm:sapsys for the file which is giving permission issue.
