how to add column in va01

hi experts,

May i know how can i add a column in VA01 in the materials overview next to the description column of the final material.

I wanted it to contain the description of the variants which the selected final material contains.

so how shud i go about.

check is there any custom field creation for the sale order in the customzation if so activate it.
