inspection type not activated list

Dear all,

How to display the list of material for which inspection type is not activated.

senerio is,

For e.g. there are 100 material codes, of which Qm master maintained for all 100 material code in MM01, but some of them has

no inspection type in inspection setup. thats why at the time of GRN, material directly goes to unrestricted stock which required

in quality stock. therefore we have to reverse the GRN (MIGO).

how to find out these material and attach inspection type to avoid this type of reversal.

Please advise.

Hi,

Go to the txn code SE16N and to check out the quality settings you can check in the table QMAT. Here you will get the inspection type assigned to the materials.

To check whether QM view is maintained or not, In the material Master Table MARA there ia field PSTAT, there you can check for Q"Quality View". for the material.

but in this case for any material for which Quality view is activated but inspection setup not maintained will also come.

To check out the inspection setup you can use the Table QMAT.

Go to QA08--->enter plant,material >activate inspection type->click on assign inspection type>enter the inspection type( say 01 for purchase inspection)>execute--->will give list of all material for which 01 is not activate.

You can also check table QMAT.
