Hello Guys,

To enable Help launchpad in any system, is importing the TR and applying an add-on both mandatory?

Or, will applying an add-on solely work?

Please suggest.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Ankit,

You can use either. The documentation is the same as previous versions. You may need to the ANCILE Product Support Center (http://products.ancile.com) for more information.

Looking at the Admin guide

The ANCILE Help Launchpad product consists of two distinct pieces:

 An SAP ABAP transport

 A stay-on-top control that is a Microsoft® Windows executable (rwdhlp.exe)

The ABAP code determines where in the application the user is located, packages the

appropriate URL, and calls the stay-on-top control. To install the ABAP add-on to

enable Help Launchpad, refer to the SAP documentation on how to install an ABAP

add-on or refer to SAP note 848560.

The Windows executable (rwdhlp.exe) provides the browser size, position, and stayon-

top function. The executable file must be accessible to everyone who is going to

use the online help functionality through SAP. This executable is not used in the

development of help files or in uploading them into SAP. The executable may be

installed on a Microsoft Windows network server that is universally accessible, or

locally on all usersu2019 computers.
