Hello,
We are upgrading GUI from 7.1 ( SP16 Bex 7.1 SP11 & Bw add on 7.1 SP6 ) To SAP GUI 7.2 (SP10 Bex 7.2 SP6 & Bw add on 7.2 SP5 ).
For that we have created Installation server 9.12 version latest & added above patches .We also create package & self extrator.
While upgrading patch on cmd its give error on end .

BW 3.5 FEP 10 is available.
We have prototyped on a few computers, and the issue with the above mentioned 2 "OCX" controls has been resolved.

We have the exact same error.
We have also patched the SAPSetup installation server to PL: SAPSETUP90P1SP00_5-20008539.
We have 3 errors in our Check SAP Gui Installation:

We were going from SP4 to SP9/BI500/BW8.
We also see the same 2 controls fail when attempting to register (wdbz.ocx/wdbex.ocx).
In regards to these...found related OSS Note: 1540916 and 1276466.
Have open message w/SAP Support. If we make progress, we'll update this thread accordingly.

The problem is solved with new frontendpatch BW 3.x FEP10. Please refer
to note 1540916 (SAPBWNews NW 7.x BW Add-On Frontend Patch 600 -GUI7.20.). According note 1118754 it is announced for CW08/2012, FEP10 may be
not available right now, you can wait for its release.
Be informed there is a precorection FEP9 via note 1677948 available.
(Currently you can not see this note).
This hotfix (not available in the SAP SMP) may not used productively
as it is not tested like other frontend patchs which are available
in SAP SMP. So I recommend to wait till FEP10 is released.

Ensure that you are using the latest SAPSETUP patch in note 1587566
