Currency data type in Tuple Table and other option

HI All,

I am working on MDM-SRM Project and got struck in the following issue:

As per the data modeling there is a pricing tuple table with price which is of type Currency but in MDM we cant have Currency data type in Tuple.. So wondering what would be alternative options to achieve this?

Second thing want to know what is Name Value in MDM?

Hi Rajeev,

There is a currency lookup table already available in SRM MDM catalog 2.0 and 3.0 repositories. You can make use of that and concatenate using assignments.

I agree with the above post that making a lookup flat with set of standard values will serve the purpose.

Further if you wish to concatenate this symbol with any other value you can use assignments.

Pls detail what Name/value are you referring to here?

Hello,

You will have to make a lookup table with all the currencies, and use that in the tuple.

Else based on the country you can decide the Currency Value and use the same as assignment.
