DBMGui & dbmcli hangs after update MaxDB

Hello Guru's,

we have to build a testsystem with maxdb 7.6.6.6 on AIX 6.1 (OSLEVEL 6100-06-06-1140)

We use for install the MaxDB installation package 7.6.3.9

At the point with sapinst we have to recover the db with DBMGui we update to 7.6.6.6.

The update runs without errors. The start of x_server and vserver are without errors, too.

But if we try to connect with DBMGui the DBMGui hangs, same with dbmcli.

We try the same with update to 7.6.6.22. Update: no errors. Start X_server & vserver: no errors.

But connect with DBMGui or dmbcli hangs.

We can not found some errors in the logs.

If we reset the update back to 7.6.3.9 the connect to the db is possible.

Have someone a suggestion?

solved with rename of shared memory files *dbm.shi & *dbm.shm in /var/lib/sdb/dbm/ipc
