Hello

We found out that a block is in error on SAN. We also found out that table "rside-ing" on that bock is BKPF.

Now we wander is it possible to write the healty part of BKPF table to an other tablespace.

How to achieve that. Via BRtools or?

If with BRtools how

Thanks in advance

Hi Jan,

I recommend you to run the RMAN consistency check (works for 10g and 11g), note 23345 will help you with that. But the basic is the following line:

brbackup -u / -m all -w only_rmv -e <parallel degree> -c

On the same note I mentioned earlier you can find referrences on how to check what are the affected objects.

Hope that helps.

Regards,

Thiago

Hi Jan,

If you are lucky, the corrupted block hit to the unused area. You can clean it up by using the note 365481 - Block corruptions
