Dear all,
Could anyone tell me What are the authorization objects needed for a Logon User in RFC connection(in the middleware) to the R/3 Backend System?.
Thanks & Regards
Vasu
Hi Vasu,
Instead of using the Logon User for RFC connection, one must use the 'current user' option. Under this, the remote system is connected with the authorizations of the user who has synchronized. This helps with security.

Dear Vasudevan,
Please make sure the RFC user has authorization object S_RFC assigned to it.
Activity should be 16.
RFC_NAME filed should atleast values ARFC and ERFC. You can go for more.
TYPE of RFC to be protected: FUGR at the least * at the most.
Makes sense to give it authorization object S_TABU_DIS also.
However what I would suggest is that also assign the user all the other functional authorizations needed for activities that will be performed by the user.
Please award points if you found answer useful.
Regards.
Ruchit.
