Hey Prakhar, thanks for your help .I needed for CCMS alerts, i looked thru in RKT but could not find anything corresponding to CCMS alerts ..................if u have nay PPTS regarding CCMS , do send them across to me .......as the marketplace links you sent
even dont have anything related to CCMS alerts.
I ahve to make presentation regarding CCMS alerts.
Thanks,
Somya
Hi Somya,
Actually if you are looking for business point of view you need to go for BPM which is more important from business perspective
and further now we have BPO dashboards too.
so customer will be more happy if you can configure bpm because then you can get the reports etc in workcenter and they can view the same in workcenter rather than just technical alerts in CCMS.
Because based upon my exp they want to go for proactive monitoring not just technical monitoring and later we come to know what happened without knowing the business impact actually.
Moreover in solman 7.1 its a wizard based approach to configure entire technical monitoring just go thru it.
this note might help you otherwise.
SAP note 897226 ('Monitoring TREX with CCMS")
and below links with ccms config
setup ccms
hope it helps further

Hi Prakhar,
I need to present it to client , for him i need to explain him the business importance of configuring CCMS and benefits out of it.
Similarly if u say for BPM , business importance of configuring BPM and benefits out of it.
Do u have any presentation that helps me provide him the benefits from non technical point of view which deatils the utility of the tool.
Thanks,
Somya
Hi
There is plenty of good material on BPM and CCMS on SDN itself.
for ccms
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Basis/SAPCCMSInstallationandRegistration
for bpm
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/bpx/bpm
http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/media/uuid/daea5871-0701-0010-12aa-c3a0c6d54e02
in addition you can always search it.

Prabhakar,
I dont need the technical configuration of CCMS and its stpes.
I have to present it to the client so for that i need the presentation on CCMS , on its business functionalities, how its used etc............................i hope its clear frm the word presentation , and presenting it to the client , what exactly i need.............................................................................which you are missing out...............
Hello
If you need contact to present the best sources are on SAP service marketplace:
How about trying to create your presentation on your own? While the presentations/demos from SAP can help you out surely you can come up with customer specific cases where you see a clear benefit for having these tools in place.
It also depends what you do with Earlywatch Alerts for example. If you only make them run you are not going to gain anything so you should already think ahead and figure out how they will be used.
Who will read those EWA's and make recommendations, will they do that periodically etc etc. To whom will you send those EWA's for example, you could send them to the system owners (business) so they get a view on how well or bad their system is doing.
Kind regards
Tom
