SAP CE 7.1 Ehp1 failing in Install JAVA engine step

I am getting below error while installing CE 7.1 Ehp1 on windows 7 system in Install JAVA Engine Phase

Could not get property IDs of the JavaScript object.

I saw one similar thread but could not see answer there..

jstart_bootstrap_J00.log is 0 byte file

Note : I undetstand that Windows 7 is not supported for CE 7.1 installation as per PAM matrix. This installation is only for learning purpose only so pls. let me know if you have any idea to resolve this issue.

Hi Raj,

First of all I don't think you can install SAP on Windows 7 successfully.

When comes to this error, please review sapinst.log file for possible reasons of this failure. I would expect this is due to uncompatible windows server but please review the log.
