Dear Experts,
Since we are using CDP and we have set the Configuration Schema as CDP.
The FG product has been assigned both Batch (023) and Variant (300) Class before transfer in ECC.
Where as i am using only Batch (023) Class for the lower BOM levels (Dependent demands to FG product).
On the APO side i do see the 400 Class maintained.
Now the issue i am facing is, when i tranfer the PV to form a PP/DS PDS in APO, the FG Product i/o feild shows Configurable Master Output, where as we realise that the i/o type for the Dependent Demands (SFG'S) is not displaying the feild as CDP-Relevent input, but it is displaying only as input.
Hence i would kinldy request if someone can help me resolve this issue.
Thanks & regards,
Nouman.
Hello,
I faced the same issue but the solution recommended was use of PPM rather than PDS's as for the scenario the most appropriate option is PPM since the scenario was with 4.0 version.
The input and Output product is well defined with PPM's
Hope the information is useful.
Regards

Hi Swetha,
Thank you for your kind suggestions, but unfortunately we are not using PPM. For your information as of hereon if any enhancements or upgardes are to be made, then SAP will only concentrate for PDS.Here by making PPM obselete. Also i might have missed an information that we are using SCM 7.0.
Nouman.
Hi Nouman,
You should use both class 300 and 023 to components also if you need component to be CDP relevant. YOu can default charteristics in component material master or you can propogate the values from finish product as per requirement. You can also propogate different values than finish product charcteristic value using badi.
Regards,
Santosh
