HTTP Port

Hello Everybody,

I have configured an Integration Engine.

Now I checked my Integration Engine in RWB.

Status is RED.

Reason: Unable to Pick up the Port Number.

Identified the same under TestMessage TAB.

So What I Have done:

In R/3 under TCODE SMICM, From Menu GOTO-->Services I have checked for the Port Number. It's not available.

How to get the Port Number here.

Hi,

You can goto SMICM and define the port.

Service-->Define

Give the port number, protocol, etc and say create.

if you are looking for the information on the port i guess

Protocol: HTTP - port: 8000 (Default) is a mandatory one.

Hi Srihari,

Goto transaction SMICM and menu path GOTO -> SERVICES again menu path GOTO -> SERVICE -> DEFINE

The "Define New Service Path" dialog box displayed

1. Type a free port number like 8000 or 8080 in NEW SERVICE PORT

2. Type HTTP in Protocol

3. Click on "Create Service"

You should see serive created and should be ACTIVE

if you not active try the same with different port number

this is good to define the protocol and port but it will be gone after a restart... you will also need to define this information in the instance profile parameters

icm/server_port_<xx> = PROT=<Protocol>, PORT=<Port>, [TIMEOUT=<timeout>,] EXTBIND=1 [, HOST=<Host name>]
