Hello,

We are using 08 inspection type for ROH and VERP materials. Now issue is few days back materials was recived at plant but at that time Inspection type was not active and some how user has posted that stock to QI. Now later master data team has activated inspection type 08 using qa08 with option activate inspite of inspection stock. Due to which system has generated inspection lot for that previous GR, but as per the standard functonality it is of inspection type 0800, but here one more problem arrives that , inspection without specification maintain in default setting for inspection type, hence there is no provision for specs attachment in that inspection lot.

Is there any option to corret it?

Regards,

Dhaval

Hi,

For any inspection lot, Inspection plan can be attached at a later date. But for that: you need to reset the sample.

It looks: here you have two inspection lots to process ie. 0800 and 08. For compliance in Pharma cGMP, you can use a notification process and record all actions taken. Regards, KrishnaM

Now that lot is created the inspection lot for 0800 ,that the UD & do stock posting in unrestricted .

Presuming that you have 08 activating & task list is exists for it,do the 322 mvt of stock from MB1b.

This will create 08 inspection lot with specs attached.

Hi Sujit,

Thanks for your prompt response. Yes, i had already asked users to do so. But thing is client is in pharma business and due to some ragulatory impacts they are insisting to correct the thing in exisisting lot itself.

Anyways, thanks again for your support.

Dhaval

The only way to correct the actual lot is the following.

Create an inspection plan and maintain all the specs directly in that inspection plan by unlocking the characteristics. Assign the material to it.

Using QA02, reset the sample and reassign the specs. You should either find the new plan, or find the material has two plan assignments. Select the new plan you created with the specs. Once the lot is updated with the new specs, delete the materials assignment to it and change the status on the inspection plan so it can't be used.
