Solman 7.1 Introscope Host Adapter issue

Hi All,

While performing introscope host Adapter setup under

Solman_setup->Managed system Config->Configure Auto i am getting below error:

java null pointer exception.

This error is only for ABAP system. its not able to create destination for ABAP system.

Please assist.

The other possiblity is trusted connection between  host agent and SMD agent is not thre

We are also stuck in  the same step..Please check the log and give your suggestion on the same.

And tell us about the wily how you install in solman (manually or automatically) and is it require to install wily on the other hosts also or only on solman.

Please reply us ASAP.

This error came for me because i did not maintained user in "Create user" step in Solman 7.1 Managed system configuration.

The issue was solved by executing "Create Users" step which i did not performed.

Java nullpointer exception are often software bugs.

Do you have the latest SPS installment?

Is your Java component LM-Service updated with the latest bug fix patches?

I would look into those in your case, going on the little information provided here.
