adding Custom fields to the layout of the screen

Hi,

I need to add two custom fields(right_container) to the item basic data tab of the shopping cart screen in SRM 7.0.But whenever I do this by enhancingf the webdynpro component /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_SC_I_BD ,all the standard fields position are changing and some even getting deleted.Could any body please help on this.Could anybody please tell me the steps to add custom fields to the standard web dynpro screen?I am struggling with this issue for past 2 days.

Hi

I had the exact same problem, then I found this article:

Please go through the steps and your fields are visible on the SC.

Notice, that the guide is for the Header and not item. But you will figure it out, while reading the guide.

Please Check few small things,

how you are adding new elements to root container,

directly under root container?if yes try to add in container

or under some transparent container? if yes check did container have any fixed width and height...

if it is Grid container.. check then colcount property and no of elements you inserted...
