Hi Gurus.
We have upgraded our SOLMAN dev from 7.0 SP 25 to 7.1 SP03.
In our prod, we don't use work centers yet and we use full GUI only (not web-based).
I need to make a plan on how we can implement the 7.1 in our production system with minimal impact toService Desk and CHARM users. Can you please give me some advise/direction.
Also, I'm currently trying to setup work centers for Service Desk and CHARM in dev so I can test properly since transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER can no longer be used. I noticed that when I choose to display the Service Desk message in GUI, the message is displayed now in web. Can we still use full GUI in SOLMAN 7.1?
I'll appreciate much if you can give me some views.
Thanks,
Tess

Hello Tess
Service Desk looks different and uses different UI technology so your Solution Manager will not look the same.
The same is valid for Charm.
You can use SAP Netweaver Business Client instead of SAPGui to provide your end-users with a better look & feel.
One of the best sources of information if [https://service.sap.com/rkt-solman|https://service.sap.com/rkt-solman] which is the Ramp-up knowledge transfer documentation. If you an S-user you can access all the PDF's and presentations without a problem.
Transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER (or DSWP) is gone and those functionalities are spread throughout multiple work centers.
Kind regards
Tom
