Document is locked/processed by other user

Dear gurus,

I have created a sales order and saved which generated a cocument number, when i try to retreave it by going to VA02 it is giving a errow message - Document is currently being processed by USER xuz. But i am the only person working on the system.

so i went to SM12 to delete the locked eneities but what ever changes whish has been done is lost. any clue of how to solve the issue. this happens even for deliovery as well as billing. and ever for change od Material master..

Hi, This will happen for most of transactions in SAP, Just come out the entire screen & then try to execute, Give system some moment to understand & put data in front of you.

dear friend,

you would :

1.call/ring/e-mail that user directly and ask "are you currently processing this order? "

2. run SM12 again and check it more properly

3. contact your basis

4. run SM04 and close that user session (but ring him/her before!
