reimport DC

Hi,

How can I reimport a DC ?

(when I was working with projects - I used -

File - Import - Existing Project into Workspace)

I tried - File - Import - Development Component -

but the screen is empty.

Hi Ruthie,

First of all, Where is your DC?

>> Your Local directory

>> DTR server.

In <i>Case 1:</i>, when your DC is in your local directory then you can perform the action what you are doing. What I feel is you are not opening it in a correct view. Open the webDynpro prospective and then perform these actions of: File -> Import -> Existing Project into Workspace.

In <i>Case 2:</i>, when your DC is in DTR you have to connect to your DTR server and create a inactive project of your activated DC in DTR. By doing that you will get the DC in your local workspace. Then for editing again you can check out the code -> create a activity and start working.
